A vaudevillian character I’m calling Deja Duchamp. This was sparked while listening to Alice Cooper on WTF. Apparently way back when he started someone said he was the savior of vaudeville. He was inspired by the Dada art movement and the bands name was meant to be the most unassuming choice for what they would actually present on stage. These are directly inspired by the old ad/print ephemera from the time. Marcel Duchamp first showed his famous “Fountain” in 1917 signed R.Mutt. A year earlier the National Vaudeville Artist Association was founded in the U.S.
